Food Is Love, Share Some Love Winter Food Drive Now – February 28th from 9am-5pm Ocean City Board of Realtors  405 22nd Street The Food Is Love, Share Some Love winter food drive will collect non-perishable food items: microwave meals, peanut butter/jelly, canned meats, soups, pasta; laundry and dish detergent, as well as Shoprite gift cards, which will be donated to the Ecumenical Food Cupboard in Ocean City to provide for local needy families. Donations can be dropped off at the office of the Ocean City Board of REALTORS®, 405 22nd Street, or call the office at 609-399-0128 for pickup service.

Guided Nature Tours Saturdays from 10am-12pm Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge  800 Great Creek Rd, Oceanville Come join us for a guided tour of the refuge that covers natural history of the area and some of the wildlife that can be seen at the refuge. Tours are FREE and family friendly. Tours last between 1 1/2 hr to 2 hrs. Binoculars are available to borrow. Donations appreciated.

New Jersey State High School Wrestling Championships Friday, March 2nd – Sunday, March 4th Boardwalk Hall Phone: 908-268-4256 This coming March, Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall once again will host the New Jersey State High School Wrestling Championships. Continuing what has become a tradition for the sport since 2002, the top high school wrestlers from across the state will be at Boardwalk Hall on March 2, 3, and 4 to compete in the NJSIAA (New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association) State Wrestling Championships. All-session tickets will be priced at $40 and go on sale through Ticketmaster.com, the Boardwalk Hall Box Office, Ticketmaster Outlets, or by phone (800-745-3000) beginning Friday, December 8. This public sale has a limit of 10 tickets per order. Single session reserved tickets are $10.

Forum for Women Veterans Saturday, March 17th from 9am-2pm All Wars Memorial  1510 Arctic Ave. Atlantic City. Women Veterans face unique challenges in navigating the transitions from military to civilian life and navigating the VA health care system. This event is an opportunity for women veterans from all years of service to come together, to hear from women who have navigated the challenges, to understand what resources are available today, and share the camaraderie of others. February 28  Get Pumped for Shore’s Cardio Challenge at Greate Bay Racquet & Fitness. Shore Medical Center is teaming up with Greate Bay Racquet & Fitness to present the second annual Cardio Challenge on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 to wrap up American Heart Month. The Cardio Challenge will take place at Greate Bay Racquet & Fitness, and it will include a free day of activities, health screenings and more. This day is open to everyone, as Greate Bay Racquet & Fitness will be offering a one-day free pass to use the gym facilities to anyone who comes that day. Greate Bay Racquet & Fitness (www.greatebay.com) is located at 90 Mays Landing Road in Somers Point, NJ.   
The Cardio Challenge is a contest that is designed specifically by the trainers at Greate Bay. Programs are available for advanced, intermediate, and beginner levels. People of all ages and fitness levels are invited to participate and have a chance to win prizes and claim bragging rights of the being the best in the community! Participants can take the challenge at any point between 8 am and 7 pm. In addition to the challenge, Shore Medical Center, Penn Cardiology, and Shore Physicians Group will offer free nutritional tips, wellness information and blood pressure screenings between 8 am and 10 am, and between 5 pm and 7 pm.
Below are the challenges and prizes for each level:     Beginner (winner gets a free one-hour private training session, plus a free drink at the juice bar)
               1. Squats: 1 minute
               2. Modified push-ups: 1 minute
               3. Sit-ups: 1

Total number of squats, push-ups and sit-ups determines the winner.     Intermediate – use squash court (winner gets a $25 voucher to the Blue Wave Spa plus a free drink at the juice bar)
1.        1 squat thrust – run to wall and back
2.        Repeat for 2 minutes

Number of rounds completed determines the winner
Advanced – use squash court (winner gets free one-hour private training session plus a free drink at the juice bar)
1.        One burpee – run to wall and back
2.        Repeat for two minutes
Number of rounds completed determines the winner
