Indoor Ice Skating

We aren’t waiting for cold weather. We’re bringing ice skating indoors! Join us in Macy’s Court where you’ll find an ice rink, festive lights and music, a snow machine, and even special guests!

Elsa & Olaf will join the fun each day to skate with all the boys and girls!

Open Skate is on Friday from 4-9 p.m., Saturday from 12-7 p.m. and Sunday from 12-5 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased in the Macy’s Court; $3 for 15 minutes, $10 for one full day.

10th Annual Operation Help 2017

The stations of Longport Media will be holding their 10th Annual Operation Help food drive to benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey Southern Branch. Clean out your pantry and donate any non-perishable food items you can spare and drop off your frozen turkeys. Do your own Operation Help at your work, school or civic organization between now and Nov. 22 and drop off your items at the parking lot of Chickie’s & Pete’s. If you’re an EHT resident and you can’t make it out to Operation Help, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department will come to your house and pick up your donation and bring them to us! 13th Annual International Fair Trade Gift Fair

Sea Isle City Holiday Extravaganza

This annual Holiday Extravaganza will kick-off the Holiday Season in grand style with a parade, tree lighting, ice skating, caroling, refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus. Friday from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.

The Mayoral Tree Lighting and Santa’s Arrival will take place on Friday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m.

2017 EHT Nature Reserve Turkey Trot

Join us for a unique race experience, the beauty and challenge of sandy beaches and wooded trails while you work off your turkey feast! Ventnor Holiday Parade

For over 30 years Ventnor City has been sponsoring a Holiday Parade. This year Ventnor City is hosting the second Twilight Holiday Parade and Kid’s Block Party on Ventnor Avenue for the Children of Ventnor and the surrounding area at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9. The Parade will begin on Ventnor Avenue at Derby Avenue and end at Troy Avenue. The theme of the 2017 Parade is “It’s a Small World” focusing on the diversity of Ventnor’s population. Ventnor City Schools will have flags and dress from various cultures throughout the world that are represented in the Ventnor community.

Mainland Regional High School and Oakcrest High School Bands, plus Absecon Island VFW Post 215, will be leading the parade. Businesses decorated in clear lights will have sidewalk sales, restaurants will be open for parade goers to enjoy fine food, and sounds of the holiday will be parading down Ventnor Avenue ending with a Kid’s Block Party between New Haven and Troy Avenue. Children can meet Santa Claus at the firehouse and enjoy other activities that will include free horse drawn carriage rides, obstacle course, inflatables, concessions, and multiple vendors.

Are your children learning to read a map in school? Put on your hiking boots, pack a trail lunch and head to the Estell Manor Park for a three-mile orienteering course through the woods. We provide the instructions, maps and a loaner compass. A basic course for the beginner and an intermediate course for the experienced or more adventurous are offered. Please specify course when registering. Children under 13 must have an adult with them. Standard tick precautions are recommended.
