Family-friendly Developments Coming to Linwood and EHT

Modern day parents are focused on their kids.  Whether it’s soccer, baseball or gymnastics, parents are seeking structural activities where their children can have fun, learn and yes ultimately compete. That demand is being met right here in Egg Harbor Township.

Bonnie and Greg Pettit are the owners of Bright Stars Gymnastics and Swim Academy, located at 3330 Fire Road, Egg Harbor Township. It is a popular and extremely successful business which has provided a venue for young kids to exercise and compete. In a culture where it’s easy to look a screen all day, they are fun and viable alternatives.

The Petitts discovered a niche in the market and teamed up with fellow entrepreneurs Ted Petitt and Tom Collins III to create The Fieldhouse which is currently being developed next the Bright stars. It is a 43,000-sf indoor sports facility comprised of indoor turf fields along with sports performances, prehab and rehab areas. Check out the progress when you pass it on Fire Road. The Fieldhouse is projected to be completed in late 2022. Stay tuned Atlantic County you will soon get to experience a one-of-a-kind, state of the art facility for kids and adults of all ages.

Next, we move on to Linwood. The Buzz is in the air about what is going into the former 7-11 which is located at 1413 New Road Linwood. Well, the answer is now going to be revealed …Twist Pretzels and Ice Cream. The Sykes family of Linwood is excited to announce that they are creating a family friendly, kids-oriented Ice Cream and Pretzel food experience. Twist will be a year-round food establishment. It will feature themed indoor or outdoor seating in a relaxing setting to encourage social interaction like past decades.
