4th Annual OPERATION: Fill The Cruiser Holiday Toy Drive
The weekend kicks off with a jam-packed day of family friendly activities, shopping discounts, city-wide sidewalk sales and give-a-ways. Saturday, November 24 at noon Santa Claus will make his way from the Washington Avenue Fire Station and arrive on a fire truck to Bocca Coal Fired Pizza at Essex and Ventnor Avenues where he will be met with Sports most famous mascot; the Phillie Phanatic!
Children and their families are invited to visit with this very special Santa who is fluent in American Sign Language and the Phanatic and enjoy activities plus a free slice of pizza at Bocca. After meeting with Santa, families can make their way to Essex Avue where they can enjoy free amusements, music and activities until 4pm.

The fun and excitement continue into the evening with the Holiday Toy Drive- 4th Annual Fill the Cruiser Event from 6PM-9PM at the Margate City baseball field (off Jerome and Amherst Avenues).
This event in which donations of unwrapped toys and canned goods are collected to be distributed to children in need in Atlantic County is truly a collaborative effort of the Police and Fire Departments in Longport, Margate, and Ventnor, PBAS, FBMA, local businesses, Margate Public Works, Toys for Kids and the Margate Business Association.
The evenings activities are highlighted by a holiday movie, treats, activities, train ride, photos with Santa by local photographer Erin McDevitt, Hanukkah craft, face painting, music by local DJ’s and of course featured guest Santa and his helpers plus much more. Bring a homemade ornament to hang on the tree and enjoy the Christmas tree lighting and the Menorah raising!
