The Buena Vista Township is holding its third annual “Richland Village Festival” on Saturday, May 27 (rain date May 28th) from 10 am to 7 pm. A wide variety of events and activities have been merged together to make the Richland Village Festival a unique event and to celebrate Buena Vista Township’s “Sesquicentennial”, their 150th Birthday.
There will be a Toy Show featuring 100 vendors, a car show sponsored by the South Jersey Mustang Club open to all makes, live music by oldies group 45 RPM and local singer Stevi Leigh. There will be dance performances and crafts from the Lenape Indians, free antique appraisals, a Community Yard Sale, crafters and antiques.
Local businesses will be open with specials plus food vendors, hay wagon rides along with other activities. The Patcong Valley Model Railroad will be operating their HO trains all day and the Cape May Seashore Lines will be running trains on short trips throughout the day. Come view the 235 year old giant oak tree monument which will be dedicated at 12:00 noon and see the Lazy Eye Distillery or shop in the 100-year old Richland General Store.
