The Atlantic City Walk Of Fame is an annual induction ceremony honoring legendary recording artists who made an impact in the music industry. The event takes place in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Six artists (6) who had singles and/or albums on either of the Billboard, Record World, Cash Box Charts with at least 25 years in the music industry will qualify to be inducted into the Atlantic City Walk Of Fame by the ACWOF Induction Committee. The ACWOF Induction Committee will select from the following: Three (3) R&B/Soul artists including one posthumous honoree, two (2) Jazz artists that include one posthumous honoree, and one (1) Popular artist (alive or deceased).

The committee of five will include the president (who will stand as chairperson) and a trustee of The National R&B Music Society Board, two longstanding residents of Atlantic City, and a non-artist music industry person appointed by the chairperson.

Inductees are required to attend the Induction Ceremony. If an inductee is deceased or unable to attend due to poor health, a family member and/or a representative must take their place.

The ACWOF Induction Committee will meet twice a year to select the inductees and to set a date for the Induction Ceremony via in-person, zoom, or telephone conference.

The ACWOF will fall under the umbrella of The National Rhythm and Blues Music Society Inc., and the selection committee members will only be responsible for selecting the inductees.

The National R&B Music Society shall open a bank account in the name of The Atlantic City Walk Of Fame with funds to be used solely for the production expenditures for the event.

The ACWOF Plaque and Ceremony will be funded by sponsors and grants.

A bronze plaque will be placed in the ground with the honoree’s name/group and date of induction in the designated area chosen by The City of Atlantic City.

The City of Atlantic City has designated Brighton Park as the location and they will provide the installation of the plaque and upkeep of the designated area.
