New Jersey Ave. Somers Point Volunteer Fire Companies 1 & 2 will escort Santa Claus to City Hall. It’s the 10th Annual Santa in the Park, sponsored by Absecon Fire Company 1. Come out to Heritage Park and visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in the gazebo. Somers Point-Community First, a local volunteer organization, announced that it will once again host a Christmas tree decorating and lighting event this holiday season. All clubs, restaurants, families, and organizations in the Somers Point community are invited to come decorate a tree. Trees are located along Bay Avenue in front of Shore Medical Center. The decorating of the trees will begin on December 4th. The lighting event will take place on December 8th from 4-5pm. Hot cocoa and candy canes will be available for attendees.
